To apply, please e-mail your interest in enduring with 6 others for 12 hours so that we can all reconsider the boundaries between art and life together as an art family. One rehearsal at 6pm the night of the performance.
Applications are due October 15 and can be e-mailed to artlife@jackny.org.
More details about the lock-in will be revealed during application considerations.
Linda Mary Montano is a pioneer in performance art. Since the 1960’s, she has explored how artistic ritual, often staged as individual interactions or collaborative workshops, can be used to enhance a person’s daily life, to create the opportunity for attentional spiritual energy states, to encourage inner silence and to alter the cessation of art/life boundaries. Montano’s work can be viewed at www.lindamontano.com & her blog and You Tube.
