THE VISIT OF GABRIEL AND HIS PARENTS, SHARON AND PETER 2016

THE VISIT OF GABRIEL AND HIS PARENTS: SHARON AND PETER

At 9 months old, he is already living up to and using the powers of his name: Gabriel the archangel-archetype and bringer of Announcements and superior communication as referenced by the Annunciation; an event where said Angel allegedly told the Virgin Mary or maybe asked her to give birth to the Son of God via the impregnation of the Divine Holy Ghost.
That Angel did not visit but a 9 month old Bronx boy named Gabriel, another version of the announcer of great things, came to Saugerties NY, and began doing holy things, like infants do. His version was to point a lot with tiny fingers of authority indicating without saying, “Hey, you over there, the one I’m pointing to/at, I’m vibrating at the frequency of Delta waves, the slowest and most spiritual ones you can get and I’m sending them to you. Yes, to you and you too, over there, next to her. I’m sending innocent/pure/ecstatic silences to you and mom and dad too.  And I might as well point to the sky and send some there as well. Mother Earth needs all the good wishes she can get these days.” We watched, they not so aghast as I was; they see/feel this daily.
That said and done, his gestures, look and good intentions did stop us all —-no more talking about Alaska, or babysitters, no more stories of lightning strikes and rubber tires, no more noshing on faux empanadas with sour cream. Our Beta brains, he in his look and gestures, cleared of worry and train ride plans and many other broadcasted maladies of matter-mind-madness. He elicited Silence.
At 9 months old, the Delta vibrating Guru was shown his new Rosary gift and pointed emphatically that he wanted it unstrapped from the card it was attached to so that he could touch it? Bless it? Play with it? Foregoing his mother’s generous breast when he seemed restless and his father’s lap, the little Guru, still sitting in the center of our rapt circle on the rainbow blanket my mother knit in the 70’s, this little beautiful One held up the red heart see through beads of 5 decades of lots of Hail Marys, moved them around as if wanting these beads to catch the August sun rays  and allowed us to be yet again mystified by his ability to channel grace.
After we traded with him, giving him a garish, generic plastic pair for everyday use, he indicated that it was time to go, that his Darshana/Sadhana was complete and the purpose of his visit accomplished.
Gabriel, the 9 month old infant, had announced in all of his pure innocence that we had been with the Spirit and that it was IN Us. We all got IT and didn’t even have to put a cent in a collection basket because this Church was Love and  is FREE.
