Celebrating AANHPIHM with Census Data

From APIAVote

Of the many ways to celebrate Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, APIAVote is celebrating May by using our platform to allow our communities to proudly say: “Here We Are”. Throughout May, we will highlight what community is and what it looks like across the U.S.. And what better place to start our celebration than to highlight the recent U.S. Census racial data? The data shows that Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders continue to be the fastest growing racial group with Asian Americans growing 82.2% from 2010 to 2019, and Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander communities growing 72.2%! Join our call to say #HereWeAre and help us continue our work to build political power for AANHPI communities.
