RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

The North Texas Institute for Educators on the Visual Arts (NTIEVA) does research and development in comprehensive art education, an approach to art education that provides interdisciplinary connections to major areas of the school curriculum while introducing students to the four foundational art disciplines that contribute to the creation and understanding of art: art production, art history, art criticism, and aesthetics.

The results of previous Research and Development projects completed by the Institute are available by clicking on the project title below. Two current Research and Development projects in which the Institute is engaged are The Digital Education Project and the History of Art Education Project.
