Greenpeace's 2014 Supermarket Ranking on Seafood Sustainability scores Canada's eight largest supermarket chains on the steps they are taking to source ocean-friendly seafood and ensure healthy oceans.

Take action

Canada’s biggest retailers are making progress towards selling sustainable seafood, but to really protect our oceans, they need to look beyond their seafood counters.

Marine life needs places in our oceans that are off limits to fishing. We need a network of marine reserves – or ocean sanctuaries, now!

1) Call your supermarket and ask them to commit not to source from proposed or existing ocean sanctuaries.
