Something is stirring. It is time for everyone to join forces in an effort to tell the world that we need #LessMeatMoreVeg. So join the worldwide challenge now!  

All you need to do to help spread the word is:

1) Make a pledge to go meat-free for one week or longer starting June 17.

2) Take a photo or record a 15-second video on your phone where you state your name, how long you aim to go meat free, the reason why (planet, health, etc.) and pass the challenge along to your friends, family or followers by mentioning and tagging them! If you don’t want to do it alone, make a pledge with your friends.

3) Share your photo or video on June 17 using #LessMeatMoreVeg on Instagram Posts or Instagram Stories, so we can get the message out there. If you tag @greenpeace_canada, we might share it too to our followers!

Why do this challenge you ask? We need you and the rest of the world to get onboard and share your  #LessMeatMoreVeg challenge to help cool our planet, save the forests, protect our kids and secure life on this planet (no pressure).  You can read more about all the reasons why we need less meat here.

It is not an easy job to get the world to join in, so why not get creative about your challenge so you can catch people’s attention? Pick a crazy location, wear a veggie suit, tell a joke, rap or sing about your pledge or balance a tomato on your nose. What do we know. The point is: The more creative the better!

After your pledge is over, see if you and your friends can lower your meat consumption by adopting a low-meat, flexitarian lifestyle by going Less Meat More Veg for good.
