About DLS

Who We Are

Digital Learning Sciences is a joint center of the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research Community Programs and the Institute of Cognitive Science at the University of Colorado Boulder. Drawing on the strengths of these institutions, our research and development team represents expertise in computer science, cognitive science, science education, user-centered design, evaluation, and machine learning/natural language processing.

What We Do

Advancing the science of learning in 21st century practice

Digital Learning Sciences provides a critical link between information science research and cutting edge practice in learning and scientific environments. Through our user-centered design methodologies, we create and support communities of practice and develop tools and services that enable learning organizations and educational institutions to contextualize and manage digital content.
