Driving through Alberta today, most people do not realize that they are travelling through an ancient region. While ancient medicine wheels and glacial erratics scatter hillsides, every lake, stream and mountain pass might conceal clues, or archaeological evidence, of Alberta's earliest dwellers. Here we invite you to explore a few of these such "clues" that lay scattered throughout the prairies.
