For those still searching for a 65 tooth pulley without much luck, there is an alternative. The 33 front 65 rear creates a 1.96 ratio, if you have a 31 front you can look for an easier to find 61 rear from the 1200 883 Sportster which will create a nearly the same ratio 1.97. You will need a 128 tooth 1 1/8" belt and from the looks of this pulley you will also need a spacer between the wheel hub and pulley, however there are several thicknesses available through any local HD parts depot.

I have a 33t front from a 1600 that I had on my 1700. Took it off when I trike it.

I bought my 65t x 1.5" 14mm pitch pulley a couple years ago. Never bought a belt though. I'm thinking about getting it done before riding to NW Starfest. Just double checking is this a good belt to get?

Gates Polychain Final Drive Belts 1 1/2in. - 14mm 139 T PC-139-1 1/2

139 teeth is way too long! 126-127 works perfectly. 125 can be muscled in, but not an easy fix. Stock belt is 130 tooth, so going longer is counter-productive.

Crap. Copied the wrong link. Yeah, 139" would be a bit too long huh? Amazon is out of stock on the 127 anyway. So is Phat Performance.

But I just found a 127T-1-1/2" WIDE 14MM POLYCHAIN at Belt Drives Ltd. for $187.35 shipped. I think I'll go with that one.
